Packing school supplies for underprivileged students and families in Haiti

Hello, guys: We thought we would give you an update about our progress. So far, we have school supplies for 120 students. Our goal is to provide for 500 underserved students and families in Haiti by the second week of August –one week before our trip to Haiti. We have collected the following items. The photos below show Katia Joseph, our Adult Literacy Coordinator,  packing backpacks, crayons, pencils, notebooks, erasers, folders, etc.

We’re still short in supplies for 380 more students . We’re still taking donations.

HOW YOU CAN HELP US

Basically, there are three ways to RESPOND to this URGENT request:

1. When you purchase a copy of Dr. Joseph’s  book, “God loves Haiti” (2015), you will help support the social works of Hope for Today Outreach (HTO) in Haiti among the poor and the needy. Our goal is to sell 500 copies by the end of July so we can buy the items listed below for these underserved families and poor children. All proceeds from the book go directly to HTO.  To purchase the book, click on the link below:

2. You can make a donation by clicking on the support tab on our website.
